You’ll miss out on book bargains!

I don’t know if it was a lockdown thing (I suspect not!) but I’m an absolute sucker for a 99p book bargain! Don’t get me wrong, I still buy higher priced ebooks, paperbacks, audiobooks and hardbacks, but if you’ve ever needed something to tip you towards buying, it’s going to be that 99p price tag. And ebooks don’t stay at 99p forever!

My kindle is absolutely full of 99p books that I’ve bought when I’ve randomly spotted an advert and I fully intend to read every single one of them!

They won’t go out of date!

You know those weeks when you decide you’re going to eat super healthy and by a tonne of fruit and veg that then sits there going brown and looking even more unappetizing as you shove pizza in your face?

The good news is that your eBooks aren’t going to go out of date. They’ll be there for when you’re in the perfect mood to read them. Which is why you should always buy them so you can dive in as soon as you’re ready.

You’ll forget to buy them later!

Let’s be honest as well, unless you carry around an actual list of books you fancy reading, if you don’t grab those books when you see them, you’re going to forget them! With new books coming out every day, it can be hard to keep up and as all of us bookworms know, there’s nothing worse than forgetting the name of a book you were thinking about reading.

It’s a great way of trying new genres

The great thing about buying books when you see them is that it’s a great way of trying new genres. You might have read a blurb or seen a cover that tickled your fancy but wasn’t in a genre you normally read. If you’re anything like me, I tend to stick to the same genres and only occasionally leave romance and cozy mystery to try something new. A great way of broadening your reading is buying books when you see them so you always have that option!

Us authors really appreciate it!

Every book we sell not only puts money in our pockets, but it shows our publishers that people like our books! It’s a very competitive market with new books coming out every day and every sale, every review means the absolute world to us! So please don’t ever think your money is wasted! I can promise you it’s not!
