You guys know by now how much I love gin and how much I love Christmas, so of course, I need a Christmas gin recipe! This one is one of my favourites because you can use vodka if you prefer, and you can use pretty much any fruit. I really like using pears because I think they give a fab base sweetness, but you could use apples or nothing at all.

Here’s my recipe, but please do play around! You’ll need:

  • 75cl bottle of gin
  • 300g pears (halved)
  • 300g caster sugar
  • 2 clementines (halved)
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Shove it all in an airtight tub and leave it for four weeks, giving it a turn and a shake every couple of days. My biggest tip though is to taste it once a week and amend the flavours to suit you. Once it’s ready, serve it straight over ice or add a mixer!

Have a merry gin-filled Christmas!
