Hi everyone,

Happy New Year!

So that's it. The year that seemed to last for about a decade has finally come to an end!

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas. I know it’s been a strange one and to be honest, I wasn’t sure whether to wish you all happy New Year or not because in some ways, it’s been a tough one with the restrictions, hasn’t it? But I hope that whatever you got up to you were able to relax a bit.

Feel any different about 2021? Nah, me neither! Lockdown and tiered restrictions are still hard, but don't worry, we will get there. We just have to keep looking at that light at the end of the tunnel. Before you know it, we'll be hugging each other and chatting in the pub about how mad it all was - without masks!

This year, the new year hasn’t brought as much of a sense of possibility and fresh start as it normally does because it’s all still a bit challenging bur despite that, I’m still going to make some new year’s resolutions. Whether I stick to them or not is another story! Are you making New Years resolutions this year? I’d love to know what’s on your list.

This year is another busy one for me with three books coming out in my new series and I’m hoping to get another Sleuthing Club Mystery published under my pen name of K E Coburn. That’s quite a lot, isn’t it? I better get writing!

Which reminds me, if you’ve ever wanted to write a novel but haven’t got round to it yet, or that pesky voice of doubt keeps telling you you can’t, keep an eye on my blog for some helpful posts that’ll get you writing in no time!

Even though it’s still weird, I’m going to wish you all happy New Year again and I hope you have a lovely January.

Lots of love,
Katie
