Welcome to my new look monthly reader's update. I decided it was time for a bit of a fresh new look and I hope you like it! I'd love to know your feedback so do reply to this email and give me your thoughts and suggestions.

So what's been happening this month?
|
Well, it's been jam packed! I was lucky enough to attend the HarperCollins Summer Party at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, as I write for them as Annabel French. The weather stayed dry and it was a wonderful night catching up with author friends I hadn't seen in ages. I've also submitted my first round of edits for my historical fiction, Christmas for the Palace Girl's (written as Emma Royal) to my publisher, Century, part of Penguin Random House. Let's hope I did a good job!

In life, it's been equally as busy! My husband and I squeezed in a weekend in Dublin and a visit to Dreamland in Margate to see the Manic Street Preachers and Suede. (Tell me you're a 90s kid without telling me you're a 90s kid!) I also had a wonderful trip to London with my daughter to see Kiss Me Kate at the Barbican. It's amazing and if you get chance to go, I would totally recommend it.

Now we're into the summer holidays so my days are spent trying to squeeze work in around the kids! But, I would love to hear from you! So check out the new monthly question and let me know what your favourite romance trope is. I'll reveal the results next month!
