November 2020

Hi everyone,

How are you all feeling in this ever-changing year? Things have got a bit tougher again, but I hope you’re finding some ways to relax and are staying safe.

I’ve been a bit naughty and am beginning my Christmas preparations. I know! I’m one of those annoying people who start Christmas early but I just can’t help it. I love Christmas and everything to do with it and with going to shops now not allowed, it was all the excuse I needed. I’m going to sneakily start putting some lights and decorations up from 1st November with my children’s help but we won’t get the tree till December!

On the writing front, I’m battling first round edits for The Secrets of Meadowbank Farmhouse and beginning to plot the next book in the series. Winter Wishes at Swallowtail Bay is now out in the world and doing pretty well and my Christmas romcom from last year, Snowflakes at Mistletoe Cottage has also been charging up the charts, which was a pleasant surprise.

One thing I am very excited for is my new social media planner to arrive! That sounds a little bit tragic, but I can’t help it! I’m sure it’s going to change 2021 for me! Do you ever do that? Pin your hopes for change on a new bit of stationary or gym kit? It’s good to dream though isn’t it!
I’d love to know what you’re up to this month and whatever that is, I hope you all stay safe.

Lots of love,
Manuscript Appraisal
