May's News!
Welcome to this month's update!
To start, I've had a few new subscribers lately so I wanted to say welcome and hello!
In case you didn't know, I'm Katie Ginger and I write dreamy destination romances as Annabel French for Avon, HarperCollinsUK. I also write historical fiction as Emma Royal for Penguin Random House, but my love will always be romance and romcoms. My next Annabel French novel comes out in June (19th) so not that far away!
This month, since getting back off holiday, I've started work on my next Annabel French novel and I'm going to sneakily tell you the title, even though I shouldn't really! It's going to be called THE FLOATING VENICE BOOKSHOP! How does that sound? Doesn't it sound fab? I can't wait to tell you more, but for now, I'm starting the first draft and finding my way with the characters and story so it might change!
In bad news, I'm in a massive reading rut! I need help to get out of it so please email me with your recommendations or, even better, find me on Insta (link below) and tag me. I need something special to get me snuggling down in my reading corner again. Can you help?
As always we've got the monthly question below, some 99p bargains from my back catalogue (and even one from the last chateau series!) and some reads I'd definitely reccommend to you guys.
That's it from me then, so until next month, happy reading everyone!

Summer at the Chateau is only 99p for May!
A newly single girl. A tall, dark and handsome stranger. A chateau that keeps bringing them together. What could go wrong?
When Lizzie Summers is jilted at the altar, she’s left completely heartbroken. But then she receives news that she has inherited a beautiful chateau in Provence, and it seems like the perfect escape.
Upon arrival, she discovers she is now the proud owner of . . . a crumbling ruin. A decrepit chateau – with nothing but dust and a goat for company.
Intending to head straight back to the airport, Lizzie instead gets caught in a freakish summer storm and finds herself trudging through a vineyard for help. Bedraggled and furious, she enlists the help of her nearest neighbour, the enchanting Luc. Perhaps she should stay and mend the chateau – and her broken heart – after all…?

Summer Strawberries at Swallowtail Bay
Hetty Colman loves her life in the cosy seaside town of Swallowtail Bay, organising children’s birthdays, anniversaries and retirement parties. But after her recent break up from long-term boyfriend Ben, she’s been searching for something new.
So, when Hetty overhears locals wondering how to return the old strawberry festival to its former glory, she jumps at the chance to relaunch it. There are just two problems – she only has four weeks to organise it and absolutely nowhere to host it!
When Hetty manages to convince the aloof, yet extremely handsome, John Thornhill to use the grounds of his rundown manor, things start to look up. But as Hetty and John grow closer and Ben tries to win back her affections, can Hetty make the festival and her love life run smoothly at the same time?
